Position Function: The Center-Based Paraprofessional assists in the implementation of intensive instructional programs including assisting with daily living and behavioral skills and sometimes providing medical care under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications Profile:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with children preferred
Current Certification of Health including negative TB test
Completion of clear criminal background check

Starting Salary: $17.50/hour- commensurate with experience

Job Category:Classified 174 workday calendar 7.5 hrs/day (37.5 hrs/week)

Requirements:
-Allemployees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis).If youve had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) wecan accept a copy of your test results. If its been more than 1 year ago you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
-Must submit pre-employment physical prior to first day of work.
