Founded in the 1960s SEQH have grown to become one of the largest import/export wharf carriers whilst still remaining a family owned and operated business. SEQH operates from company-owned sites in Hemmant and Toowoomba both currently undergoing major upgrades. Most excitingly our brand-new purpose-built facility at the Port of Brisbane has now opened!

Main Job Details
- Location:68 Gosport Street Hemmant
- Roster:Monday Friday occasional weekend work
- Plenty of overtime averaging 50 hr. weeks
- Pay Rate: $50-57/hr. Overtime Superannuation

Key Requirements
- Certificate III in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or similar
- Minimum 5 years experiencein heavy vehicle maintenance
- HC/MC Licenseor willingness to obtain one is an advantage
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of diesel engine systems
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose repair and maintain diesel engines transmissions and other heavy vehicle components
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes brake inspections and fluid checks
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues or malfunctions
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work is performed to industry standards
