SEQH operates from company-owned sites in Hemmant and Toowoomba both currently undergoing major upgrades. Most excitingly our brand-new purpose-built facility at the Port of Brisbane has now opened!

Main Job Details

• Location:68 Gosport Street Hemmant
• Roster:Monday Friday occasional weekend work
• Plenty of overtime averaging 50 hr. weeks
• Pay Rate: $50-57/hr. Overtime Superannuation

Key Requirements

• Certificate III in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or similar
• Minimum 5 years experiencein heavy vehicle maintenance
• HC/MC Licenseor willingness to obtain one is an advantage
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of diesel engine systems
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose repair and maintain diesel engines transmissions and other heavy vehicle components
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes brake inspections and fluid checks
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues or malfunctions
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work is performed to industry standards
