We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Officer who brings both heart and expertise totheir worksomeone who thrives in a generalist role values collaboration and is motivated by contributing to a safe inclusive and high-performing workplace.
As a People & Culture Officer you will be a trusted first point of contact for employees and leaders providing timely accurate and practical advice across the employee lifecycle.
You will deliver solution-focused P&C advice to managers and employees ensuring all guidance is compliant accurate and aligned with relevant legislation industrial instruments policies and organisational standards.
You will contribute to the effective management of administrative workflows shared inbox enquiriesand day-to-day customer service support ensuring responsive professional and high-quality service delivery across the organisation.
You will also build and maintain expertise as a systems administrator for Employment Hero including designing and optimising workflows enhancing dashboards and workforce datacapabilities and improving system connectivity and employee engagement.
In addition you will contribute to the development and delivery of employee engagement wellbeingand culture initiatives across the organisation.
This is a true generalist role with the opportunity to develop deeper expertise in areas suchas recruitment onboarding and workforce planning; learning development and performance; and employee engagement wellbeing and culture initiatives in line with organisational priorities and your strengths.
About you
Youre a capable and values-driven P&C professional who enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. Youll bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (P&C/HR Business Psychology or similar) or equivalent experience
- Experience in a generalist HR/P&C role (approx. 3 years)
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation Modern Awards and HR best practice
- Confidence providing advice to managers and employees across a range of people matters
- Experience working with HR systems (ideally Employment Hero) and data/reporting
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative customer-focused approach
- A proactive mindset a solution focused approach and an eye for continuous improvement
- A reflective and emotionally intelligent approach with an open mindset toward innovation agility and collaborative teamwork

- This role may require a Working with Children Check and/or Police Check or ability to obtain.
- Drivers licence (desirable/role dependent)
