Resumen del Puesto:

Garantiza la integridad del inventario financiero y físico.

Responsabilidades Principales:

  • Identifica e investiga discrepancias entre el inventario financiero y el físico.
  • Realiza ajustes auditorías y envía correcciones contables.
  • Evalúa los niveles de existencias y el estado de reabastecimiento.
  • Participa y asegura la precisión en los conteos periódicos y especiales de inventario. Puede conciliar discrepancias entre los inventarios financieros y los conteos físicos.
  • Asegura que la documentación esté completa sea precisa y se procese adecuadamente para servir como respaldo de auditoría de inventario incluyendo la revisión actualización y mantenimiento de los tiempos de entrega y registros de envío y débito.
  • Identifica investiga y participa en oportunidades para mejorar procesos y procedimientos incluyendo métricas clave de desempeño.
  • Mantiene y actualiza los sistemas según sea necesario.
  • Otras tareas asignadas.

  • Ha adquirido y aplica conocimientos prácticos sobre la organización el puesto prácticas y procedimientos para ser competente en todos los aspectos del trabajo.

Experiencia Laboral:

Normalmente se requiere un mínimo de dos años de experiencia relacionada.

Educación y Certificaciones:

Diploma de secundaria o equivalente.

Características Distintivas:

  • Puede requerirse certificación para montacargas y/o equipos industriales motorizados (PIT).
  • Se requiere conocimiento básico de Excel.
  • Puede requerirse estar de pie por períodos prolongados; agacharse inclinarse ponerse en cuclillas girar; levantar hasta 11 kg con frecuencia y hasta 23 kg ocasionalmente; subir escaleras bancos o escalerillas; trabajar a alturas superiores a 4.5 metros; uso frecuente de equipo de protección personal (EPP).


Job Summary:

Ensures the integrity of the financial and physical inventory.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and researches variances between the financial and physical inventory.
  • Adjusts audits and submits journal entry corrections.
  • Assesses stock levels and reorder status.
  • Participates in and ensures accuracy of periodic and special inventory counts. May reconcile discrepancies between financial inventories and physical counts.
  • Ensures documentation is complete accurate and processed appropriately to serve as an inventory audit trail including review update and maintaining inventory delivery lead time and ship and debit records.
  • Identifies investigates and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures to include various key performance metrics.
  • Maintains and updates systems as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Acquired and applies working knowledge of the organization job practices and procedures to be proficient in all aspects of job.
  • Performs functions semi-routine in nature and recognizes the need for occasional alternative solutions.
  • Work is performed independently with minimal supervision. Able to establish priorities and manage time to complete work.
  • Collaboration with other departments or teams may be required to perform role. May frequently respond to requests from others internally or externally.
  • Impact of decisions may affect the department. Errors may result in loss of time resources and/or customer satisfaction.


Work Experience:

  • Typically requires a minimum of two years of related experience.


Education and Certification(s):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Distinguishing Characteristics:

  • May require forklift and/or Power Industrial (PIT) certifications
  • Requires basic Excel knowledge.
  • May require standing for prolonged periods of time; bend stoop squat twist; lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds ocassionally; negotiating steps stools and ladders; working at heights exceeding 15 feet; frequently wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
