The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Supplier Program Management Specialist (Level 6) to join our Starliner team in either Kennedy Space Center Florida; Houston Texas; or Huntsville Alabama.
Position Responsibilities:
- Establishes technical and business direction and processes to meet financial delivery and product conformity targets
- Develops and leads company procurement and contractual strategies for key suppliers and programs
- Provides technical oversight and guidance of strategic supplier plans
- Directs the development of recovery plans
- Establishes technical and business guidance to meet financial delivery and product conformity targets
- Identifies strategic work movement projects and plan elements
- Integrates company sourcing strategies procurement and program activities
- Works directly with strategic customers to develop concepts and requirements for future business opportunities
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Shift:
This position is for 1st shift.
NASA Access:
The Kennedy Space Center location requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Technical Bachelors Masters or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree or greater in a mathematic scientific or information technology field of study)
- More than 5 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action
- More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- More than 5 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
- More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- More than 3 years of experience creating interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements
- More than 3 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity
- More than 3 years of experience leading test campaigns
- More than 3 years of experience briefing customers and leadership

Summary pay range (FL AL): $161500 - $199500
Summary pay range (TX): $172550 - $213150
