About the Role

This full-time role is split across two complementary functions:

  • 2 days per week Apprenticeship Administrator
  • 3 days per week Mentor Officer

You will support the operational effectiveness of the Apprenticeship Community team while also providing mentoring guidance and practical support to apprentices and trainees to help them successfully complete their training.

Key Responsibilities Apprenticeship Administrator (2 days)

  • Provide professional administrative support including contract management compliance monitoring reporting document control and correspondence
  • Maintain compliant apprentice and employer files in line with audit and legislative requirements
  • Act as a key customer service contact for apprentices employers and training providers
  • Support meeting and event coordination
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather and share information
  • Collate and review financial and program information
  • Provide general administrative support to the broader team and management

Mentor Officer (3 days)

  • Provide mentoring guidance and support to allocated apprentices and trainees
  • Identify barriers and risk factors and develop individual Training Support Plans
  • Maintain regular contact with apprentices trainees and employers via phone email SMS and facetoface meetings
  • Facilitate meetings or mediation where required to achieve positive outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders including employers schools RTOs GTOs andparents/guardians
  • Maintain accurate records case notes and reporting
  • Undertake associated administrative and compliance tasks

What You Will Bring

  • Strong administration and customer service experience
  • Excellent organisation time management and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Experience in mentoring coaching or client support (highly regarded)
  • Understanding of apprenticeships and traineeships or willingness to learn
  • Strong communication problemsolving and mediation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Sound IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Qualifications in community services youth work or related fields (desirable)
  • Current drivers licence and ability to travel as required
