This position is defined to manage strategic projects where we need to speed the change adopt best practices and bring a suitable governance model. One of the reasons for Stefaninis rapid growth is its adaptability to change which requires experienced project managers to drive change efficiently.

For this position we need a Senior Project Manager with prior development experience who can help ensure a clear understanding and productive discussions among senior stakeholders with diverse perspectives and strong opinions.

This technical foundation allows the PM to challenge assumptions diplomatically and synthesize competing viewpoints into actionable project direction. The Project Manager will face environments where requirements change quickly show strong emotional intelligence to build consensus among high-performing individuals and keep projects moving despite shifting priorities.

This role requires someone who can translate ambiguous strategic vision into concrete deliverables adapt communication styles to resonate with different personality types and remain composed under pressure while guiding cross-functional teams through complex decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Governance:

  • Drive all aspects of the Project Management role including collaboration and coordination across multiple IT and business segments working with Presales for RFP responses and building offers and constantly communicating with upper management
  • Set up a governance model based on existing processes procedures and templates tailored to the project/programs needs
  • Create/propose processes and templates to improve the governance model
  • Facilitate resolution of conflicting technical opinions and priorities among senior stakeholders
  • Build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups with competing interests
  • Influence senior technical leaders and business stakeholders to drive project alignment.

Technical Management & Strategy:

  • Translate ambiguous strategic direction into clear actionable project plans
  • Facilitate technical strategy development by synthesizing input from multiple technical experts
  • Ensure that the project has clear technical acceptance criteria and that the client accepts and understands the technical deliverables. Support the client and the project team in setting up a technical strategy managing all the technical expert opinions
  • Technically biased engages with engineering in technical discussions with Software Engineers Product Owners and System Engineers facilitating/driving issue resolution and removing cross-functional impediments to keep the team focused on delivery
  • Plays the business analyst and product owner role when needed helping with the requirements elicitation and documentation.

Team Management & Delivery:

  • Motivates delivery team members drives precision and quality into deliveries
  • Orchestrates launches that comprise project deliverables as well as production issue fixes which may occur outside regular business hours
  • Leads delivery teams during post-launch phases for expedited issue resolution
  • Coaches junior colleagues and helps to unblock difficult situations occurring in other projects.

Risk & Financial Management:

  • Actively maps studies and addresses risks and issues by elaborating a mitigation/response plan while proactively tracking its execution
  • Create and deliver professional presentations on project kick-offs phase gates status reports etc.

Communication & Reporting:

  • Tracks budget and resource utilization across while managing third party relationships (procurement) in the successful achievement of project/program delivery.

Quality & Performance Management:

  • Develop and adapt KPIs that effectively measure and communicate the value delivered to the project on a periodic basis
  • Design and maintain dashboards that provide clear visibility into project health progress and business impact
  • Measure and report on AI efficiency gains and performance improvements delivered through AI-powered solutions and automation initiatives.


  • 7 years of professional experience in the software development field
  • 2 years of professional experience as a developer or in another technical position related
  • 5 years of hands-on Project Management in various types of projects
  • Experience in delivering both Waterfall and Agile projects
  • Experience working on globally distributed teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
  • Ability to work in flexible hours to accommodate time zone differences
  • PMP certified (optional)
  • Ability to engage in highly technical discussions with developers product owners DBAs and system engineers
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and build alignment among diverse stakeholder groups.
