Civil Designer

As a Civil Designer working with our Perth team you will focus on delivering comprehensive design work for civil projects using AutoCAD and 12D.

You will be responsible for

• Design and drafting of multi-disciplinary projects
• Preparation of construction documentation
• Review of drafting documentation
• Supporting and approving associated technical work directly related to the discipline
• Playing an active role in the business groups through regular meetings workshops training and business planning

Qualifications :

Ideally you will have 3-5 years of experience in civil design within a professional services or consultancy addition you will also have:

• Diploma of Engineering Technology (or similar) or significant experience as a civil designer
• Proficiency in 12D and AutoCad 2D
• A thorough understanding of civil design principles pertaining to mining land development storm water flood modelling civil infrastructure or roads (preferred disciplines)
• Experience working with clients in the mining sector highly desired
• Ability to define problems and relevant constraints and risks and discuss with Engineers
• Willingness to coach junior designers with advice on solutions and develop fit-for-purpose solutions to engineering problems
• Ability to autonomously develop complex designs and drawings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisation
