This position umpires softball games for adult mens co-rec and/or womens softball leagues. Games are held on Monday Tuesday Wednesday and/or Thursday evenings from 6-10 p.m. at Big Willow Park in Minnetonka or Central Park in Hopkins. Spring/Summer games are played from late April to early August. Fall games are played from mid-August through October.

• Umpire adult softball games.
• Provide quality customer service before during and after league games.
• Maintain control of a game and surroundings (participants fans etc.)
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
• Make on-site decisions regarding weather cancelations if needed.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• A commitment to and belief in the organizations shared values.
• Significant knowledge of softball rules and/or playing experience.
• Must be 24 years of age or older.
• Great communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience as a softball umpire
• USSSA Certified
• Extensive knowledge of the game and rules through playing experience and umpiring experience
