  • THE ROLE

    Indigo has an exciting opportunity for a Speech Pathologist Part time (0.5 FTE) to join our Disability Services team to provide services for school aged youth and adult NDIS participants delivery of training and explore service growth opportunities. The Speech Pathologist works with individuals carers organisations and key partners to ensure optimal outcomes for people accessing Indigos services. As well as delivering ongoing speech pathology services to meet customers goals there is the opportunity to provide training assessment prescription and implementation of assistive technology with a particular focus on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

    THE CANDIDATE:

    The right candidate will be a passionate dynamic and innovative Speech Pathologist. They will have:

    • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (Certified Practicing) a desirable 5 years experience
    • Clinical experience in assessment prescription and implementation of assistive technology with a particular focus on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
    • High standard of communication problem solving and initiative
    • Demonstrated proficiency in ICT databases data analysis and Office Suite
    • Consultative and collaborative working style with ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
    • Possess a valid WA Drivers License Working with Children Check NDIS Worker Screening Check and current First Aid & CPR
