About The PositionThe Loan Officer Assistant is a key ambassador for Gershman Mortgage supporting the overall operations of the branch. This role combines administrative operational and customerfacing responsibilities to ensure the office runs smoothly while helping Loan Officers deliver an exceptional borrower experience. This position requires strong organizational skills professionalism initiative and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problemsolver who thrives in a teamoriented setting and enjoys supporting both people and processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Overseeing daily administrative operations for the branch by serving as a professional first point of contact for visitors and maintaining an organized office environment.
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments for the needs of the branch and other staff members.
- Assisting with marketing and social media activities that support Loan Officer outreach community engagement and sales initiatives.
- Participating in and supervising a wide range of company projects and community events. There are expected to be 1-2 events monthly outside of regular working hours.
- Assisting in streamlining interactions with borrowers agents and other community members to support the mortgage process.
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information.
- Performing additional duties as assigned to support branch operations.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and Abilities)- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Experience managing social media accounts and event planning is required.
- Experience performing office administrative duties is a plus.
- Strong computer and internet skills including all MS Office suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint) required.
- Creative self-starter who excels in a fast-paced team environment with an eagerness to learn
- Must be efficient with strong attention to detail.
- Strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers) demonstrated professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidential information.
- Strong skills in organization and planning demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem-solving.
- Ability to prioritize tasks exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
Work Environment This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones cameras video equipment and other electronic devices.
