Our client a 4th-generation family-owned and operated subcontractor construction company is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead accounting and financial operations. This is a high-visibility onsite role ideal for an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant ready to step into an Accouting Manager position.

What Youll Do

• Lead full-cycle accounting month-end and year-end close
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Manage WIP job costing and percentage-of-completion accounting
• Oversee cost accounting and project financials
• Handle union accounting reporting and payroll coordination
• Assist with lien releases and project documentation
• Complete customer and project pre-qualification packages
• Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
• Manage banking relationships including line of credit reporting and covenant compliance
• Support HR-related accounting functions (medical insurance pension programs)
• Serve as the financial lead for the office supporting ownership and leadership

What Theyre Looking For

• 510 years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Construction industry experience required (GC or subcontractor)
• Strong cost accounting and WIP reporting experience
• Experience with $10M$20M revenue environments
• Hands-on professional comfortable owning all aspects of accounting
• Vista by Viewpoint software experience REQUIRED
• Ability to communicate professionally with banks and AR customers
• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (highly preferred)
