Job Summary
Delta Technologies is an industry-leading mold manufacturing company who is searching for an experienced Mold Shop Manager. The Mold Shop Manager is responsible for complying with procedures policies and regulation to assure component quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Injection Mold Build Department performance
- Ensure all department personnel are following procedures and policies
- Ensure appropriate employee training is performed and documented as well as maintain training logs
- Conduct employee reviews
- Schedule workflow toolmakers and engineering change requests to ensure expectations are met
- Establish best practices
- Develop metrics to track performance of leaders
- Effectively communicate between departments shifts and all levels within the organization to report and correctmanufacturing/qualityissues and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure all parts and orders comply with specific work instructions
- Component inspections including first and last articles and spot checks to ensure quality
- Assist in the evaluation acquisition and implementation of new equipment
- Set productivity standards and monitor and report performance
Qualifications:
- Previous mold build experience
- Minimum of 2 years previous supervisor experience in manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work well under deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates strong leadership motivation and supervisory qualities
- Ability to manage priorities and demonstrate a high-level reactivity in critical situations
