Job Summary
Center for Developmentally Disabled (CDD) / Rainbow Center is a private not-for-profit corporation founded in 1972. CDD provides residential care services day habilitation to adults with developmental disabilities and private separate school for children ages 3-21 with communicative and developmental disabilities in the greater Kansas City MO area.

- Answer telephone calls direct messages and route calls promptly and professionally.
- Greet visitors and parents; notify appropriate staff of their arrival.
- Announce bus changes and arrival/departure information.
- Maintain a clean organized and welcoming reception area.
- Monitor entryway for issues and report or resolve as needed.
- Maintain and manage the organizational calendar; send weekly email reminders for updates.
- Handle faxing copying and general office correspondence.
- File and retrieve documents and reference materials.
- Prepare flyers parent notes and general communications; submit for supervisor approval before distribution.
- Maintain office equipment and two-way radios used for playground safety and communication.
- Manage and replenish office supplies as needed.
- Maintain and organize student attendance records and program files (Community Access Bathroom Activity Funds etc.).
- Assist with yearly enrollment documentation.
- Assist in maintaining developing and organizing student files and discharge summaries.
- Prepare and maintain a supply of 10 student enrollment packets.
- Assist with Rainbow Center progress reports.
- Assist Executive Team members with scheduling appointments travel arrangements and reservations.
- Support Development Director with donor relations auction coordination and database management.
- Assist in maintaining social media platforms.
- Upload and organize photos from ROI ROIi and RC cameras monthly; maintain external photo drive.
- Research and order supplies as approved by administration.
