General Manager, Strategy and Sustainability
Job Summary
RWAV is seeking a commercially astute executive leader to join our team asGeneral Manager Strategy and Sustainability.
This is a newly created role with real influence leading strategic growth business diversification and organisational capability in a fast-moving purpose-driven environment.
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Team Board and Company Secretary you will help shape RWAVs next chapter expanding our reach strengthening partnerships and developing new solutions that improve access to a skilled health workforce across rural regional First Nations and underserved communities.

What youll do
In this executive leadership role you will:
- Drive RWAVs strategic and business objectives including new products services and revenuestreams.
- Lead strategic partnerships across government the health sector and the broader community.
- Provide high-level advice to the CEO and Board on strategy risk planning and operations.
- Strengthen organisational capability customer experience and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead change across a complex and evolving environment.
- Foster a high-performing values-led culture.
- Ensure strong governance financial discipline and compliance across the portfolio.
What youll bring
Were looking for an accomplished executive who combinesstrategic insight with commercial acumen and the ability to inspire others. Youwill bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in health business public policy or a related field.
- More than 15 years of relevant experience including at least 5 years in a comparable seniorleadership role.
- Strong experience in strategy business development commercial leadership and change.
- A proven ability to build influential stakeholder relationships and represent an organisation at senior levels.
- Confidence in working with boards executives and government stakeholders.
- Excellent judgement integrity and the ability to navigate complex high-stakes environments.
- A track record of leading senior teams and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Alignment with RWAVs values and a commitment to inclusive respectful leadership.
