Job Description:

Summary & Purpose of the Position

  • Promote the value of registered pharmaceutical brands of IPSEN towards healthcare professionals.
  • Achieve visit and performance targets in accordance with the brand plan via face-to-face calls and professional events.
  • Build and maintain the positive image of company brands through compliant promotional activities.

Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies

  • Achieve defined objectives activities and other performance targets through the maintenance and development of a high-level customer relationship on the geographically defined territory.
  • Have a positive and productive professional relationship with all important partners departments HCPs in the assigned territory.
  • Have a deep knowledge of the assigned territory market needs and opportunities on account and customer level.
  • Demonstrate sufficient analytical skills to understand and identify business opportunities in assigned territory.
  • Promote respective brands based on the defined promotional plans. Prepare and implement effectively the account tactical plan call plan event plan reporting etc.
  • Gain and demonstrate outstanding medical knowledge.
  • Cooperate within team and with other departments and countries in proactive and efficient way.
  • Deliver daily activities in perfect compliance with relevant CZ all AIFP and also internal rules requirements and procedures.

Knowledge & Experience (essential):

  • Professional background from original company
  • 10 years of experience as medical representative
  • Proven experience in key account management (including development and execution of strategic account plans stakeholder mapping and long-term relationship management with HCPs)
  • Strategic and autonomous mindset (ability to independently manage a territory translate strategy into execution and prioritize based on business impact)
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross functional environment (close collaboration with Marketing Medical Affairs Market Access and regional teams)
  • Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and professional societies (active participation in scientific projects educational programs and congress-related activities)
  • Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven mindset (experience with sales data analysis KPIs business planning and CRM systems (e.g. Veeva).
  • Digital and multichannel customer engagement capabilities
  • Dynamic assertive promotional attitude
  • Excellent communication skills commitment to value-based promotion
  • Flexible independent and proactive working style
  • Result oriented team player
  • Must hold a valid Driving Licence and willingness to travel extensively
  • Computer literate (Outlook MS Office)

Knowledge & Experience (preferred):

  • 3 plus years in NEURORARE specialty care / hospital segment (rare diseases and/or neurology is an advantage)
  • Experience with launches of specialty or innovative products (including disease awareness initiatives early diagnosis activities and development of patient pathways)

Education / Certifications (essential):

  • Degree in Healthcare or Science (university or high school)

Language(s) (essential):

  • Czech English
