This Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic partner to the Vice President for Public Sector Mobility Sales and is responsible for streamlining operations and ensuring alignment across teams and organizational priorities. This role will manage critical projects facilitate effective communication between leadership and stakeholders and serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional initiatives. This role will translate high-level strategy into actionable plans help drive organizational goals resolve challenges and optimize executive workflows.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
- End-to-End Project Management: Supporting projects from initiation to completion ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and meet defined quality standards.
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Developing and maintaining detailed project plans schedules resource allocations and status reports to guide project execution and ensure alignment with objectives.
- Stakeholder and Vendor Communication: Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders clients and vendors to provide project updates facilitate meetings and manage expectations.
- Quality Assurance and Issue Resolution: Ensuring adherence to quality standards by reviewing project deliverables and taking proactive measures to identify analyze and resolve any issues or risks.
- Craft and deliver compelling executive-level narratives: Distill complex data into clear actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Develop and design high-impact presentations: Translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Gather information and shape cohesive stories that resonate with executive audiences and drive informed decision-making.
- Plan coordinate and manage large-scale internal events: Develop event strategies overseeing logistics managing budgets and ensuring seamless execution to deliver impactful experiences that align with organizational objectives.
- Draft edit and distribute clear and engaging internal communications: Ensure employees are informed aligned and motivated around key initiatives organizational updates and leadership messages.
- Other duties as assigned: Supporting processes related to resource management data analysis reporting and/or team collaboration. This position may represent the organization in providing a front door for requests that do not have a clear owner which requires a good overall knowledge of business functions.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong PowerPoint and storytelling skills.
- Strong organization and project management skills.
- Intermediate Excel capabilities.
- An expert in their field applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results.
- Leads critical high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies.
- Works with minimal oversight frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions.
- Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree (BS/BA) desired.
- 7 years of related experience.
- Certification is required in some areas.
Our Principal Project/Program Managers earn between $130700 - $196100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography experience expertise and education/training.
