JOB PURPOSE

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
- Routine maintenance of plant equipment machinery
- Designing maintenance strategies procedures and methods
- Scheduling planned and unplanned work
- Diagnosing breakdown problems
- Directing and/or instructing and supervising Maintenance Technicians
- Familiar with standard maintenance methodologies equipment design installation and project management
- Recordkeeping
- Must communicate with supervisors and coworkers
- Supervising projects while working hands on with team
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

| Education/ Required: 4 year post secondary education or equivalent experience. Licensure/ Credentials | Required: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering | |
| Experience | Required: At least 5 years mechanical engineer experience |
| Special Knowledge/ Skills | Required: Equipment installation and preventative-predictive maintenance knowledge. Able to read blueprints and technical documentation with understanding process operations and maintenance. Basic knowledge of Windows Excel Outlook Access Word and CAD Systems. |
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Employee will receive job specific training including safety work rules ethics compliance computer system and other related topics.
EVALUATIONS
Performance evaluations will be completed by the immediate supervisor by ongoing assessment of proficiency and performance.
