POSITION:LICENSED SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Effective 2026-27 School Year
LOCATION: KETTERING CITY SCHOOLS
GENERAL INFORMATION: This therapist will provide speech/language therapy services to school-age students identified with speech/language difficulties. This position will be paid on a teacher salary schedule.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Partial List
- Evaluates students with speech and language difficulties.
- Establishes short/long term measurable goals and objectives.
- Develops and implements therapeutic interventions/methods.
- Establishes and amends Individualized Educational Plan goals through team and parental conferences and attends IEP meetings.
- Determines appropriate therapeutic services to include monitoring direct services or RTI interventions.
QUALIFICATIONS Partial List
- Masters degree.
- Valid Ohio Speech/Language Pathologist license/certificate.
- Valid Ohio drivers license.
- Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
- Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
SALARY: According to the approved teacher salary schedule.
