Support plant operations by maintaining troubleshooting and repairing facility and production equipment while promoting a safe efficient and continuously improving work environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Learn and work with singlephase and threephase power distribution systems
- Perform mechanical repairs on facility and plant equipment
- Perform light fabrication including welding and pipefitting
- Troubleshoot equipment using multimeters and general hand tools
- Learn and work with air compressors chillers heating units and exhaust fans
- Complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts scissor lifts and articulating boom lifts
- Participate in plant safety health and environmental programs
- Maintain 6S standards throughout the facility
- Support the Rittal Production System through preventive maintenance and continuous improvement activities
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and leaders
- Attend required training sessions and developmental workshops
- Carry a company phone during normal working hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work first shift and overtime as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 12 years of experience in one or more skilled trades including electrical hydraulic pneumatic or mechanical systems
- HVAC experience is preferred but not required
- Completion of a technical or vocational education program preferred
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner
