Support plant operations by maintaining troubleshooting and repairing facility and production equipment while promoting a safe efficient and continuously improving work environment.

• Learn and work with singlephase and threephase power distribution systems
• Perform mechanical repairs on facility and plant equipment
• Perform light fabrication including welding and pipefitting
• Troubleshoot equipment using multimeters and general hand tools
• Learn and work with air compressors chillers heating units and exhaust fans
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts scissor lifts and articulating boom lifts
• Participate in plant safety health and environmental programs
• Maintain 6S standards throughout the facility
• Support the Rittal Production System through preventive maintenance and continuous improvement activities
• Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and leaders
• Attend required training sessions and developmental workshops
• Carry a company phone during normal working hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Work first shift and overtime as required

• High school diploma or GED required
• 12 years of experience in one or more skilled trades including electrical hydraulic pneumatic or mechanical systems
• HVAC experience is preferred but not required
• Completion of a technical or vocational education program preferred
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner
