Sales Account Manager FlowMark

Job Summary
The Sales Account Manager FlowMark is responsible for maintaining and expanding customer relationships while driving new business. The role manages a portfolio of accounts develops new opportunities within existing and new customers and serves as the primary point of contact for all account matters. This is an in office position that requires some travel to visit customers and prospects (typically 5-6 trips annually). The goal is to ensure high customer satisfaction grow revenue and meet or exceed sales targets.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Drive new business and re-engage past customers
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Serve as primary contact for assigned accounts and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with internal teams to support projects
- Track activities in CRM report on pipeline/forecast and provide market feedback
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitors
- Participate in sales meetings/training/trade shows and perform other duties as needed
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager or similar role within the truck or sanitation/environmental equipment industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends is a plus.
Schedule
- Standard office hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday in office.
- This role is required in office work with some travel to meet with clients.
- Sales Account Manager occasionally works on time sensitive projects and it is expected will work any/all hours as required to complete projects as directed (i.e. occasionally earlier and/or later work hours may be required).
- Sales Account Manager is expected to monitor emails / phone calls every day and respond even during non-office hours.
- Although not commonly expected occasional work on Saturdays may be required.
Office Location / Report To:
- The Sales Account Manager will report to FlowMarks Director of Sales. The role is based in Kansas City MO remote arrangement will not be considered.
