Job Summary
The Granville High School Marching Band is hiring anassistantband director. This is a part time supplemental position with a salary range between $3761-$8462 for the season depending on experience This person will be expected to attend summer rehearsals after-school practices performances and games. Responsibilities will include running/assisting with music rehearsals sectionals marching technique and administrative tasks. The GHS Marching Band is a show-style band with approximately 130 members.
Applicants do not have to be currently affiliated with a school and qualifications may vary. Desired qualifications would include a degree in music or at least strong musical training. However any applicant with musical background and/or marching band experience may apply.

The position listed above is a Supplemental/Pupil Activity contract in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 3319.08 (Supplemental) 3313.53 (Pupil Activity) and the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Granville Exempted Village Schools Board of Education and the Granville Education Association Article 20.

Failure to complete or maintain the appropriate credential may result in the forfeiture or terminiation of the supplemental or pupil activity contract.
