About the Role This is a numbers-meet-mission kind of role. Youll be the financial backbone of a busy mental health clinic keeping a close eye on insurance revenue across four departments and making sure every dollar billed is a dollar collected. If youre the type who notices when things dont add up and actually does something about it this ones for you.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Insurance Tracking

Pull Excel reports from the EHR to reconcile what each department billed versus what was actually collected
Track expected vs. actual insurance income per department on a monthly basis
Identify and follow up on missing denied or short payments

Billing Collaboration

Partner with the billing team to close revenue gaps and ensure no payments fall through the cracks

Expense Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor spending across all four departments and flag any unusual activity
Maintain accurate up-to-date records in QuickBooks
Deliver a clear monthly report to the CFO per department covering expected income amounts received and outstanding balances

Qualifications

Experience with insurance payments or accounts receivable in a healthcare setting
Familiarity with EHR systems (or ability to learn quickly)
Proficiency in QuickBooks (or ability to learn quickly)
Strong attention to detail catches discrepancies before they become problems
Self-directed and reliable; follows through without needing to be reminded
