About the Role This is a numbers-meet-mission kind of role. Youll be the financial backbone of a busy mental health clinic keeping a close eye on insurance revenue across four departments and making sure every dollar billed is a dollar collected. If youre the type who notices when things dont add up and actually does something about it this ones for you.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Insurance Tracking

  • Pull Excel reports from the EHR to reconcile what each department billed versus what was actually collected
  • Track expected vs. actual insurance income per department on a monthly basis
  • Identify and follow up on missing denied or short payments

Billing Collaboration

  • Partner with the billing team to close revenue gaps and ensure no payments fall through the cracks

Expense Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor spending across all four departments and flag any unusual activity
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date records in QuickBooks
  • Deliver a clear monthly report to the CFO per department covering expected income amounts received and outstanding balances

Qualifications

  • Experience with insurance payments or accounts receivable in a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (or ability to learn quickly)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (or ability to learn quickly)
  • Strong attention to detail catches discrepancies before they become problems
  • Self-directed and reliable; follows through without needing to be reminded
