About the Role

As a FOCUS Connect Support Worker youll be part of an organisation that genuinely cares about our people and the clients families and communities we support. Youll provide practical support and genuine connection to older people in their homes and communities empowering them to live safely confidently and independently.

Your day might include:

• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with daily living activities and meal preparation
• Supporting medication reminders and personal care
• Helping with light household tasks
• Accompanying clients to appointments and community activities

What You Bring

• A caring and empathetic nature
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience or interest in Aged Care (Cert III preferred)
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with people from all backgrounds

Requirements:

• NSW Drivers Licence fully insured vehicle
• Valid First Aid & CPR National Police Check & WWCC clearance
• Proof of Australian work rights
• Smartphone (for rostering app use)

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds proficiency in Spanish Arabic Italian Mandarin Vietnamese Cantonese Greek Tagalog is a plus as it will allow us to better support individuals from diverse backgrounds.
