Location: Columbia MD (100% Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Field Services Technician to support enterprise desktop/laptop hardware repair deployment imaging and technical support activities in an onsite environment. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and repairing Dell Apple and Chromebook devices along with supporting peripherals and end users in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose troubleshoot repair and deploy Dell Apple and Chromebook devices
  • Perform hardware break/fix repairs including laptops desktops docking stations monitors printers and peripherals
  • Install image configure and deploy operating systems and enterprise applications
  • Replace hardware components such as RAM SSD/HDD batteries keyboards screens and motherboards
  • Troubleshoot connectivity network jack and peripheral-related issues
  • Provide onsite technical support and excellent customer service to end users
  • Utilize ticketing systems to document track and resolve service requests within SLA timelines
  • Maintain inventory tools workspace and equipment in a professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with staff management and technical teams
  • Support device lifecycle management including setup refresh deployment and decommissioning
  • Perform additional technical support duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in desktop support field services or computer hardware repair
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing laptops desktops and peripheral equipment
  • Hands-on experience with Dell Apple and/or Chromebook devices
  • Experience with system imaging OS installation and device configuration
  • Knowledge of computer hardware basic networking and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Familiarity with ticketing/service management systems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple service requests effectively
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. or more and perform physical activities such as walking climbing squatting and prolonged standing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Active Directory Office 365 and basic network troubleshooting
  • Experience with SCCM Intune JAMF or other endpoint management tools
  • CompTIA A or similar technical certification preferred
  • Experience working in enterprise or educational environments preferred
