The state license would be a requirement. The national certification is preferred but is not required. The state of Colorado will issue a provisional technician license for 18 months to allow time for national certification.

This position takes in-coming calls from members providers etc providing professional phone assistance to all callers. Transfers all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist.
Also assist with the prior authorization process data entry filling of prescriptions shipping medications and helping walk-in patients. Help with other functions as directed by the site leader.

* At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician coordinating activities in an administrative support function. * National pharmacy technician certification preferred. Eligible for state registration certification or licensure per state regulations. * Advanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization. * Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must.
