Job Summary
The Position:
The Outside Sales Representative blends technical sales expertise with strategic territory management representing a diverse portfolio of industrial products including hoses fittings adhesives and MRO supplies. The successful candidate will work closely with an established customer base to expand share while identifying new opportunities across key sectors such as agriculture manufacturing and construction. Supported by a collaborative internal team and existing sales infrastructure this role is ideal for a self-directed sales professional who thrives on building long-term client relationships delivering technical solutions and driving sustainable growth within a stable well-established organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support ongoing customer relationships and requirements
- Seek out and develop new customers and opportunities
- Address customer service requirements
- Process orders with accuracy and efficiency (with the assistance of inside/CSR support)
- Source product and create quotes for varying applications
- Work with customers product development personnel to address product application requirements and opportunities
- Responsible for developing product and industry knowledge
Qualifications:
- Proven success in industrial sales or distribution particularly in sectors like OEM manufacturing equipment or construction supply.
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills with a natural ability to identify and seize growth opportunities.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize time effectively.
- Customer service experience in a B2B environment.
