Job Summary

Florida Coastal Paving is a national parking lot construction and maintenance company serving commercial and industrial clients across the country. Currently we are looking for a dynamic and talented Business Development Manager to help grow our business and lead our Sales Team
This role is built for a true hunter someone who thrives on identifying opportunities opening doors and closing deals. The Business Development Manager will prospect and secure new national accounts expand existing relationships and position Florida Coastal Paving as the go-to partner for large-scale paving concrete and maintenance programs.

Youll collaborate closely with Estimating Operations and Project Management to ensure every project you bring in is executed with excellence reinforcing our reputation for quality reliability and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify pursue and close new business opportunities within target industries and national markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing national clients driving sales growth and account expansion.
  • Lead client presentations proposal development and contract negotiations.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure estimates proposals and project execution align with client expectations.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to uncover additional needs and upsell new services or regions.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure growth goals are met or exceeded.
  • Support the VP of Account Management in developing nationwide growth strategies renewals and long-term partnerships.
  • Represent Florida Coastal Paving at industry events trade shows and client meetings to increase visibility and lead generation.
  • Mentor and train sales staff

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Construction Management or related field (preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in business development sales or account management ideally within construction facilities management paving or concrete operations
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong relationship-building negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated competitive and goal-oriented with a hunter mentality.
  • Ability to manage multiple prospects and clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings site visits and industry events.
