Job Summary

The VP of Institutional Sales is a proactive growthoriented sales leader responsible for originating new institutional client relationships. This role is focused on developing business through disciplined prospecting relationshipbuilding and strategic networking across the institutional investment landscape. You will independently source and advance opportunities while working closely with other sales professionals advisors marketing and leadership to convert relationships into longterm partnerships.
Sales Strategy
  • Define and execute sales strategies for specific institutional target markets including endowments and foundations healthcare organizations and other nonprofit entities.
  • Develop actionable sales plans with clear prospecting outreach and pipeline goals tied to new asset growth.
  • Define and continuously refine target prospect universes within each market.
  • Collaborate with other sales professionals and advisors to develop and execute a comprehensive sales approach
  • Partner with the marketing team to increase market presence and brand awareness through campaigns events and thought leadership.
Business Development & Sourcing
  • Proactively source and pursue new institutional prospects through outbound outreach networking meetings calls conferences and referrals.
  • Build early-stage relationships and maintain consistent follow-up to drive inclusion in RFP and search activity.
  • Leverage personal networks and industry presence to uncover new opportunities ahead of formal searches.
  • Partner with consultants and advisors on geographic prospecting conferences and speaking opportunities to expand FEGs reach.
  • Manage and maximize FEG participation at industry conferences ensuring clear pre- and post-event prospecting activity.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management in CRM including prospect segmentation activity tracking and relationship mapping.
  • Represent FEG with credibility professionalism and energy at industry events prospect meetings and networking forums.
What We Require / Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 15 years of successful institutional investment sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting networking and originating new institutional relationships.
