Chubb Life Global Office VP, Product & Proposition for Greater China
Job Summary
Role Objective:
Support the Chief Commercial Officer to achieve top line growth by developing product and proposition strategy and execution to identify nurture and acquire target consumers and retain and grow the existing customer base.
This role will provide leadership and subject matter expertise in product development utilizing market and consumer insights data collection and analysis and customer experience management to engage insurance and wellness users.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Greater China markets on setting product strategy based on local customer needs and channel requirements to boost top-line growth and effectively manage product mix to enhance portfolio margin
- Support Greater China markets to design develop and deliver go-to-market insurance and wellness propositions
- Lead the product development and implementation of Bermuda product line
- Develop and monitor our competitive position in terms of customer and service proposition through market research data analysis and feedback from internal stakeholders
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors identify and develop the companys unique selling propositions and differentiators
- Works closely with Product Owner to communicate vision and requirements for new features
- Holds Product Owner accountable for timely feature delivery
- Engages in development process as needed to provide clarity and direction leveraging best practices sharing across markets
- Oversees commercial and operating performance of product scope against stated KPIs
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in a product marketing or actuarial role; experienced leader in product strategy and launch;
- Have in-depth understanding of Greater China markets including market dynamics competition regulation customer sentiment etc
- Understanding of life and health insurance product from a marketing and product perspective or equal experience within other financial services environments
- Able to understand and well communicate with distribution needs
- Flexible and comfortable operating in a rapid growth environment and dealing with ambiguity. The role has a high degree of independence in making assessments and taking decisions in line with overall company and Chubb Group functional strategy;
- Proven success driving sizeable growth within a business
- Driven to be successful and drive the brand forward with a hands-on approach to managing and delivering projects;
- Outstanding communication skills particularly the ability to convert complex ideas and quantitative data into simple messages;
- Language and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills able to communicate across cultures and with staff where English is their second language;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with all levels of management;
- Experience working in large multi-national companies
