Job Summary
SUMMARY
The Centralized Services Specialist is responsible for providing a full range of professional technical and general support to Sunwest Bank deposit clients. Performing the duties of onboarding new accounts and the maintenance of existing accounts ensuring service level standards are met or exceeded.
The position will partner with all business units within the Bank to offer exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers within assigned time frames.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the day-to-day client contact for deposit clients ensuring delivery of exceptional client service via telephone or via email by taking ownership of each client inquiry question or concern to resolution.
Perform duties associated with the opening all types of new accounts and maintenance of existing accounts including check orders address changes and updated or superseded signature cards.
- Provide first level support to internal/external customers including but not limited to: business online banking systems remote deposit capture lockbox general account inquiries debit and purchasing card inquiries and password resets for various systems. Assist clients with routine needs such as system functionality questions moderate level technical issue resolution billing issues etc. Also provides information on client transaction accounts and other general banking needs.
- Onboard various specialty deposit clients with niche product and service needs and ensure clear communication and understanding of unique setup and requirements of each client.
- Coordinate with Bank vendors when needed to resolve client inquiries.
- Coordinate with other banking teams to escalate security issues to stop fraud activity.
- Support the Sales Officers in their efforts to meet complex client needs.
- Ensure appropriate documents and agreements are properly completed and executed prior to implementation.
- Provide excellent customer service to support and solve internal and external customer issues.
- Manage internal and external customer expectations when communicating and responding to processing requests instructions inquiries issues voicemails and emails to help maintain relationships.
- Track reported issues for consolidation and potential process or system change.
- Educate clients on account services and capabilities.
- Troubleshoot systems issues for resolution. Liaise and advocate on behalf of the client and ensure a continuation of care when additional internal expert involvement is needed.
- Assist leadership with projects activities and tasks.

- Attends training and maintains a basic knowledge of procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing financial institutions as they apply to your position and job responsibilities with an emphasis on the BSA/AML/CIP OFAC Regulation E Regulation CC Information Security Bank Protection Act FACTA-Identity Theft Information Technology and GLBA.
- Additional duties as assigned as it relates to the position.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Three (3) years of banking experience including account opening and customer service/support experience required.
- Experience supporting Treasury Management and/or HOA/Property Management preferred.
- Experience in researching and resolving basic to complex problems.
- Strong verbal and written communications ability
- Operate 10-key calculator by touch
- Understanding of Windows-based personal computers
- Understanding of Word and Excel
