Outside Sales Professional Rental

• Ability to develop a book of business with construction industrial and oil and gas customers to rent construction equipment
• Daily planning/scheduling and daily calls to various customer job sites and offices
• Maintain budgeted metrics on rental revenue utilization new accounts active accounts and pricing
• Ability to perform needs analysis and develop plan to meet customers needs within parameters of the rental department
• Ability to penetrate different market segments within a given geographic territory to maintain a diverse book of business
• Use Company provided systems/tools to fully document track record follow-up and capture all related activity in a timely and accurate manner. Use of the system should contribute directly to the rental process
• Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products as well as business and industry trends
• Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations as well as operate machinery at customer work site
• Work in conjunction with Sales Manager and Sales Support Group department responsible for follow-up and expediting rentals
• Accountable for timely follow up on each transaction to ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate and/or communicate with customers and applicable departments to ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate pickup and delivery of equipment as needed
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
• Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of Doggett Company LLC
• Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
• Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts including open book meetings huddles department meetings and other related efforts
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers management and support resources with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
• Knowledge of company specific software

• College degree in sales marketing or business preferred or 3-4 years of related sales experience
• Solid understanding of local market conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Daily consistent use of a professional CRM

• On average 812 face to face sales calls per day
• Ability to travel 15% of the time or as needed
