AboutDollys Dream andthe Alannah & Madeline Foundation:
Dollys Dream was created by Kate and Tick Everett following the tragic loss of their 14-year-old daughter Dolly to suicide after ongoing bullying. Kate and Ticks goal is to prevent other families walking this road.
They want to change the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying anxietydepressionand youth suicide through education and direct support to young people and families.
Dollys Dream is proudly supported by the Alannah & Madeline Foundationa national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to keeping children and young people free from violence and trauma wherever they live learn and play. Through Care Prevention and Advocacy programs we fight for their right to be safe so their future is strong.

Aboutthe role:
Reporting to the Dollys Dream Program Manager the School Engagement Coordinatorwillbe responsible forvisiting schoolsin remote rural and regional areasthroughoutthe relevant statein which basedwith occasional travel into other statesasrequiredto deliver Dollys Dream is a significantcomponentof this role with an average of two weeks of travel expected each month.
This is a full timetwo-yearcontractrole.
To make an impact in this role you will:
- Bebased ineitherNewSouthWales Queenslandor Victoriaand havean appropriate homeoffice setup suitable for remote work.
- Work with the full range ofschoolswithinyour home stateto buildawareness of Dollys Dream funded activities thatassistwith the prevention of bullying.
- Deliver face-to-face and virtual workshops to students parents and teaching staff introducing programs providing support and promoting behavioural change around bullying. Includes travel to schoolsprimarilywithin your homestate(Training provided)
- Regularly communicate withschoolswithin your homestatevia promotion campaigns telephone online and face-to-face meetings to promote Dollys Dream resources toassistwith the prevention of bullying.
- Be responsible forcommunication planning and providingappropriate communicationmaterials for schoolswithin your home statewhile managing the bookings and scheduling for all Dollys Dream programs.
The perfect you:
- Experience in education or a school setting (essential)
- A qualification in education (desirable)
- A minimum of 4 years experience in executing projects or initiatives either in the non-profit corporate consulting or public sectors (essential).
- Previousexperience in delivering social change projects; frameworks or initiatives in the education sector toa high level(essential).
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to conduct training presentations andfacilitateworkshops with schools (essential).
