Your New Role
As a full-timeEarly Childhood Teacher Room Leaderyou will contribute to an environment where learning thrives and children feel supported to reach their full potential.
- Lead the planning implementation and evaluation of high-quality educational programs aligned with EYLF 2.0 and Montessori philosophy alongside play-based learning approaches
- Take responsibility for guiding and mentoring the room team to deliver engaging intentional teaching practices
- Oversee accurate and meaningful documentation of childrens learning including observations learning stories and individual portfolios
- Build and maintain strong respectful and collaborative relationships with children families and educators fostering a welcoming room culture
- Support and guide educators within the room to ensure consistency in practice and high-quality learning outcomes for all children
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standard (NQS) regulations and centre policies and procedures at all times
- Lead by example in contributing to a positive inclusive and professional team culture that values reflection growth and continuous improvement
- Actively support childrens individual development wellbeing and sense of belonging within a nurturing nature-inspired learning environment
To Thrive in This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching or Graduate Diploma and NESA registration (essential)
- Proven experience working in a childcare setting
- Strong understanding ofEYLF 2.0and National Quality Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for early childhood education
- A collaborative team-focused approach
- Kindness compassion and professionalism in all interactions
