We are looking for an experiencedoptical transceiverCircuit Design Engineer who has > 10 years of experience withtransceiver designsoperatingatbandwidths > 25Gbits/sec. The ideal candidate has specific technicalexpertisein a broad range of process technologies (65nm toFinFET)including SiGe and SOI processes.Data converter design experience is a plus specifically SAR and sigma-deltas.

The right candidate must have experienceinTIAlaser driversequalizationPAM-4 modulationin addition to chip level architecture and simulation experience. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understand of DFM and DFMEAi.e.design risk mitigation and design yield enhancement techniques

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Expert in using Cadence/Synopsys design flow

Ability to create and present design reviews test/characterization plans

BSEE/MSEE/PhDin Applicable Field with 10 years of experience in IC design or equivalent

Understanding of digital and analog/mixed signal design (digital front end and RF experience is desired)

Proven record of technicalexpertisedeveloping integrated circuit design

Must have thorough understanding of best practices for silicon development tools and processes and must be able to support post-silicon effort to enable productization

Experience with custom layout of circuits is highly desirable

Strong communicationdebuggingand analytical skills with complex technical concepts

Must work well in a team environment

Experience with a variety of manufacturing technologies and design applications preferred.
