RNNurse Manager-BHC

Your Role:

• Responsible for directly supervising and managing RN/Assistant Nurse Managers in the inpatient units and on the behavioral emergency services
  team.
• Oversees RN/Assistant Nurse Managers regarding staff trainingstaffing schedules the hiring/termination process patient flow performance monitoring and adherence with Behavioral Health Center (BHC) policies and procedures The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and State of Florida licensure standards.
• Monitors nursing-related program performance metrics.
• Acts as a delegate in the Dir/Inpatient Services absence.
• Oversees nursing students in the inpatient units.
• Represents the BHC at hospital-wide nursing meetings (as directed).
• Promotes a consistent and consolidated direction in providing nursing care in accordance with
  nursing practice philosophy and ethical guidelines.

Supervises:

• RN/Assistant Nurse Manager (job code 030303) RN/Coordinator of Admissions (job code 034202) and RN/Behavioral Health (job code 031903)

Required Education:

• Associates Degree in Nursing

Preferred Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (Strongly Preferred)

Required Experience:

• Two (2) years of job-related leadership experience

Preferred Experience:

• Three (3) years progressively responsible administrative nursing experience.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS) Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations) Chapter 464 (Nursing) Part I (Nurse Practice Act) includes multistate compact licensure
