Job Summary
The role involves design and development of scalable and high performance solutions for provision of data involving essential skills concepts of Cloud data warehouse Snowflake SQL PLSQL along with good knowledge of data transformation methodologies using SQL and Python The candidate should be expert in functional data architecture and design including strong data modelling Their code and designs should meet business technical non functional and operational requirements most of the times without defects and incidentsThe Technical Specialist role is focused on delivery of an accelerator programme of data extraction and manipulation from source application databases both Cloud hosted and On Premise into the new Fidelity data lake Snowflake The candidate will also work as a data modeller to define logical DWH target data model and physical modelling to snowflake constructs The candidate is expected to devise solutions to complex problems while working within project constraints and requirements with special focus on maintainability scalability performance and cost The successful candidate will be a key member of the delivery team currently in India As a new joiner the individual is expected to bring up to date ideas and thoughts on tools practices
This would also involve intensive interaction with the business and other Technology groups and hence strong communications skills and the ability to work under pressure are absolute must The candidate is expected to display professional ethics in his or her approach to work and exhibit a high level ownership within a demanding working environment
