Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Brown Bag Bus is The YMCA of Greater Montgomerys one-of-a-kind initiative to combat the effects of childhood hunger in Montgomery Alabama. Brown Bag Bus staff are a part of helping to provide food assistance to children in underserved communities. Hours of work approximately: Monday Friday 1:00pm - 6:00pm. In addition every position in the YMCA of Greater Montgomery is responsible for upholding our mission by modeling behaviors that exemplify caring honesty respect and responsibility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in assembly of meals item to be delivered
- Ride along on bus to distribute food
- Ensure cleanliness of bus at end of shift
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School or equivalent (minimum)
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday 1:00pm 6:00pm
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to: climb stairs bend stoop kneel twist reach with hands sit stand for an extended period of time walk lift and/or move up to 50 pounds have finger dexterity grasp perform repetitive motions talk hear and have visual acuity.
