• Implement activities from curriculum manage supplies set up and prep work of materials and program space
• Teach and actively engage students in each activity
• Ensure the safety of children and staff at all times
• Provide a warm clean and loving atmosphere
• Assist with and actively participate in all areas of the THRIVE program
• Maintain a developmentally appropriate environment in the classroom
• Develop activities that meet the group and individual needs of students

REQUIREMENTS:

• Agrees with Cascade Christian SchoolsStatement of FaithandTeaching Statements
• Christian role model in attitude speech and actions
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check clearance
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Obtain a food worker card
• Ability to lift 30 lbs hike swim climb stairs
• Has a positive attitude
• Ability to work AS part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Demonstrates an attitude of support and encouragement
• Willing to complete ALL required trainings including HIV/AIDS & annual blood borne pathogen training
• Meets the preferred one to two years of experience in early childhood education
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors; can be subjected to inclement weather
• Accept supervision and guidance from supervisors and administrators
• Perform ALL expected duties in a professional manner

WORK HOURS:

Monday through Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm

SALARY RANGE:

$21.05-$24.30; Depending on Experience
