The Director of Investor Relations is responsible for leading the companys investor relations strategy and supporting capital markets activities for a publicly traded organization. This role serves as a key liaison between executive leadership investors analysts shareholders and the financial community while also supporting treasury management and strategic growth initiatives including mergers and acquisitions.

The position partners closely with the CEO CFO Finance Legal and Executive Leadership Team to ensure consistent communication of the companys financial performance long-term strategy and shareholder value proposition.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Investor Relations

  • Develop and execute the companys investor relations strategy to enhance shareholder value and strengthen relationships with investors and analysts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors analysts shareholders and rating agencies.
  • Coordinate quarterly earnings processes including earnings releases scripts investor presentations earnings calls and Q&A preparation.
  • Lead development of investor-facing materials including annual reports investor decks conference presentations and related communications.
  • Monitor analyst reports shareholder activity market trends and peer company performance.
  • Prepare executive leadership for investor meetings roadshows and conference participation.
  • Support SEC disclosure activities in partnership with Legal and Finance including 10-K 10-Q proxy and other public filings.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate messaging across all external financial communications.
  • Track investor sentiment and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Support shareholder engagement initiatives and annual shareholder meeting preparation.

Treasury Responsibilities

  • Support management of the companys capital structure liquidity and banking relationships.
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting working capital analysis and liquidity planning.
  • Monitor debt compliance covenant reporting and financing activities.
  • Partner with Finance leadership on credit facility management and capital allocation strategies.
  • Support foreign exchange interest rate and risk management activities where applicable.
  • Assist in evaluating financing alternatives including debt and equity offerings.
  • Develop relationships with banking partners lenders and financial institutions.
  • Support treasury-related process improvements and financial controls.

Mergers & Acquisitions / Corporate Development

  • Support evaluation and execution of mergers acquisitions divestitures and strategic investments.
  • Conduct financial modeling valuation analysis and strategic assessments for potential transactions.
  • Coordinate due diligence activities across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with integration planning and post-acquisition performance tracking.
  • Prepare presentations and materials for executive leadership and Board review related to strategic transactions.
  • Monitor industry trends competitive landscape and acquisition opportunities.
  • Partner with Legal Finance HR IT and operational leaders during transaction execution and integration efforts.
  • Support development of long-range strategic growth initiatives.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Build strong partnerships across Finance Accounting Legal Operations and Executive Leadership.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and enterprise financial initiatives.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Lead special projects and executive-level initiatives as assigned.

            ABOUT YOU:

            • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration Economics or related field required.
            • MBA CPA CFA or other advanced financial designation preferred.
            • 8 years of progressive experience in investor relations corporate finance treasury investment banking corporate development or related financial leadership roles.
            • Experience working within a publicly traded company environment strongly preferred.
            • Prior experience supporting earnings calls SEC filings and investor communications required.
            • Experience with M&A transactions financial modeling and treasury operations preferred.
            • Strong understanding of capital markets financial statements valuation methodologies and investor communications.
            • Knowledge of SEC regulations disclosure requirements and public company governance practices.
            • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
            • Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
            • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced highly visible environment.
            • Strong relationship-building skills with executives investors analysts and financial institutions.
            • High level of business acumen strategic thinking and professional judgment.
            • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite financial reporting systems and investor relations platforms.

              TRAVEL

              Up to 30% travel required.

              Expected Compensation: $200-250k 20% Bonus Eligibility
