A reputable and well-established organisation within the hospitality and property industry is seeking to appoint a skilled Hotel Accountant based in Menlyn Pretoria. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function within a dynamic and operationally focused environment.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a BCom-qualified professional with 58 years experience who thrives in a hands-on role and has a strong understanding of hospitality or property finance. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy supporting operations and maintaining strong financial controls.
The appointed individual will work closely with operational teams and management delivering accurate financial reporting while ensuring efficient processes and cost control across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full finance function including reporting and reconciliations
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts
- Oversee stock takes and inventory controls (advantageous)
- Ensure compliance with financial and statutory requirements
- Maintain and improve financial processes and controls
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support operational teams with financial insights and reporting
- Perform a detailed financial analysis using advanced Excel
Job Experience & Qualifications:
- BCom degree (minimum requirement)
- Articles advantageous
- 58 years relevant finance experience
- Experience within the hospitality or property industry is essential
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong understanding of stock and inventory processes (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
- Ability to operate in a hands-on fast-paced environment
