Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee trade accounting processes within a fast-paced operational environment.
Ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation of trading activities.
Support month-end and year-end reporting requirements.
Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements and related reporting packs.
Analyse financial information and provide insights to support business decisions.
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Collaborate closely with operational and commercial teams across the business.
Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.

Qualifications & Experience:

CA(SA) qualification is essential.
Minimum of 1 year post-article.
Previous exposure to the mining industry is non-negotiable.
Strong technical accounting ability is essential.
Excellent academic achievements including distinctions will be highly advantageous.
First-time board passes are strongly preferred.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to perform in a high-pressure performance-driven environment.
