Mobile Service Technician

We are looking for a full-time experienced Mobile Service Technician (SCBA) based in Tempe AZ to support the inspection maintenance and repair of firefighting equipment. This is a field-based role with a company service vehicle provided (take-home eligible). The ideal candidate must reside near Tempe to effectively manage the Arizona territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Perform routine inspections and functional checks of SCBA equipment

-Conduct preventative maintenance troubleshooting and repairs

-Test SCBA units (pressure airflow and leak testing) to ensure compliance

-Maintain detailed service records and documentation

-Calibrate and adjust equipment for accuracy and safety

-Train end-users on proper use and maintenance of SCBA equipment

JOB REQUIREMENTS

-High school diploma or equivalent

-Minimum 3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician (preferred)

-Prior experience servicing SCBA equipment (highly desirable but not required)

-Mechanical background with experience in one or more of the following:

HVAC systems Small engine repair Firefighting equipment Hydraulics Cabling

Vehicles or electrical systems

-Knowledge of NFPA standards and SCBA regulations (preferred)

-Familiarity with 3M/Scott SCBA equipment (preferred)

-Strong computer skills

-Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving ability

-Excellent communication and customer service skills

-Valid Drivers License (required)

-REAL-ID required for access to federal sites

-Willingness to travel (100% travel required)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
