Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment supporting multiple acute care facilities. The ideal candidate will have recent ICU respiratory therapy experience and strong critical care skills in a fast-paced hospital environment. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy care to critically ill and acute care patients
- Administer respiratory treatments oxygen therapy and ventilator management
- Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and respond to clinical changes
- Assist with airway management and critical care respiratory procedures
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate respiratory therapy documentation and patient records
- Float between affiliated facilities as needed to support patient care operations
Requirements
- Active Indiana Respiratory Therapist license required
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- ACLS and BCLS certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of recent ICU respiratory therapy experience required
- Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience preferred
- Education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA
- Strong critical care and ICU respiratory therapy skills required
- First-time travelers accepted
