This role is suited to a highly experienced technical professional who can bridge the gap between business requirements and robust scalable software architecture. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping technical direction guiding development teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintainable solutions across projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping technical direction guiding development teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintainable solutions across projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and define functional and non-functional requirements for software solutions
- Design deployment architectures aligned with performance scalability and longevity requirements
- Evaluate technical trade-offs including client budget complexity and future maintainability
- Assess and align required skillsets for both development and long-term support of solutions
- Investigate and resolve complex technical challenges providing hands-on guidance where required
- Lead technical decision-making across development teams and projects
- Conduct code reviews tailored to project standards and individual developer capability
- Establish maintain and evolve technical standards and best practices
- Continuously refine development and delivery processes to improve quality and efficiency
- Provide expert input on effort estimates and technical feasibility
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers supporting skills development and knowledge transfer
- Contribute to performance management and technical recruitment processes
- Participate in pre-sales activities including solution design proposals and estimations
- Support marketing initiatives through technical writing presentations and research
Requirements:
- BSc in Computer Science or related tertiary qualification
- Strong object-oriented programming skills
- Extensive experience in software architecture and system design
- Strong proficiency in C# and framework
- Experience with front-end technologies including HTML JavaScript and CSS
- Proven experience with WPF and WCF
- Solid understanding of enterprise application design and integration patterns
- Experience with code reviews mentoring and technical leadership
- Ability to evaluate and balance technical and business constraints effectively
Advantageous:
- Microsoft certification(s)
- Active contributions to public repositories such as GitHub Bitbucket or Stack Overflow
