An international technology consultancy is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the modernization of enterprise financial platforms. The role focuses on migrating systems to scalable Java-based architectures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Lead backend development across C#/.NET and Java/J2EE
Drive migration from to modern Java architectures
Design secure scalable enterprise financial systems
Collaborate with cross-functional and client-facing teams
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure)
Mentor junior developers
Requirements
5 years of backend development experience
Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and Java/J2EE
Solid SQL and large dataset experience
Experience with CI/CD and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Degree in Computer Science or related field
Consulting or client-facing experience preferred
