Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive design and bring innovative products and services to market.
Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
Build distributed storage index and query systems that are scalable fault-tolerant low cost and easy to manage/use.
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
Translate functional requirements into robust scalable supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture.
Participate in the full development cycle end-to-end from design implementation and testing to documentation delivery and maintenance.
Produce comprehensive usable software documentation.
Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools.
Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
Mentor junior development engineers.

Our vision is for Selling Partners to be able manage their finances easily and trust Amazon to help grow their business. We want to be their trusted financial partner. We do this by providing tools to manage their finances from order to cash that are easy to use accurate and in any format our customers choose. This empowers our Selling Partners to optimize their cash flow reduce time needed to reconcile their books and stay compliant on financial reporting in order to free up their time and resources to focus on growing their business. We will grow towards this vision by focusing on accuracy transparency and defect reduction in the short term; delighting Sellers with a full financial experience while building Vendor trust and accuracy with our BSOR in the middle-term and in the north star providing financial insights and full automation with zero manual effort.

For 0.9MM Retail Vendors we own the Vendor financial applications on Vendor Central WW including Invoice lifecycle management (181MM views 22 countries) Credit Notes management (0.2MM views 23 countries) Disputes and Returns experience (30.2MM views 23 countries).

- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
