What You Will Do:
We are currently searching for a Research Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform patient care and scientific research support services to the NIH This is a full-time on-site opportunity in Bethesda MD. Weekend rotation work will be required.
Provide patient care and support patient-related activities associated with clinical trial operations and biomedical research support services.
Function within a collaborative team of clinical providers and clinical research operations staff to support the coordination and execution of NIH research protocols.
Support biomedical research protocols and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including patients and families to enhance clinical practice and care.
Perform patient care and scientific research services in line with research protocols.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians and research staff to enhance clinical practice and care for patients and families.
Facilitate learning for patients and families.
Perform medical management of patients incorporating critical thinking skills with advanced clinical practice and research skills.
Integrate research knowledge and evidence-based practices for patient care in accordance with clinical trial protocol requirements.
What You Will Need:
MastersdegreefromanaccreditedPhysicianAssistant(PA) or NursePractitioner(NP) program
Must have a fully active unrestricted PA or NP certification OR be able to obtain certification within 60 days of application.
Minimum of TWO (2) years of patient care experience.
Experience in a clinical research setting and knowledge of research regulations.
Able to work a rotating weekend schedule as assigned.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust. Candidates must receive approved adjudication of their Public Trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active Public Trust or existing suitability are preferred.
