What You Will Do:
We are currently searching for a Research Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform patient care and scientific research support services to the NIH This is a full-time on-site opportunity in Bethesda MD. Weekend rotation work will be required.

• Provide patient care and support patient-related activities associated with clinical trial operations and biomedical research support services.

• Function within a collaborative team of clinical providers and clinical research operations staff to support the coordination and execution of NIH research protocols.

• Support biomedical research protocols and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including patients and families to enhance clinical practice and care.

• Perform patient care and scientific research services in line with research protocols.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians and research staff to enhance clinical practice and care for patients and families.

• Facilitate learning for patients and families.

• Perform medical management of patients incorporating critical thinking skills with advanced clinical practice and research skills.

• Integrate research knowledge and evidence-based practices for patient care in accordance with clinical trial protocol requirements.

What You Will Need:

• MastersdegreefromanaccreditedPhysicianAssistant(PA) or NursePractitioner(NP) program

• Must have a fully active unrestricted PA or NP certification OR be able to obtain certification within 60 days of application.

• Minimum of TWO (2) years of patient care experience.

• Experience in a clinical research setting and knowledge of research regulations.

• Able to work a rotating weekend schedule as assigned.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust. Candidates must receive approved adjudication of their Public Trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active Public Trust or existing suitability are preferred.
