Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations Supervisor

Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations Supervisor position. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations Supervisor plans directs and supervises the operation and maintenance activities during an assigned shift by overseeing the operation of the Plant Control Center (PCC) or of one or more multi-craft process teams. Is responsible for all activities occurring at the Plant on evening and weekend shifts and on holidays.

While performing the duties of this class incumbents refer to lawsregulations and guidelines such as safety regulations and requirements from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal and State Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and The EchoWater Resource Recovery Facility (EchoWater Facility). Federal and State pollution and potable water regulations. Permits from National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES). Certification requirements from the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) air quality permits from Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District (SMAQMD). Waste Discharge Requirements labor agreements and The EchoWater Resource Recovery Facility (EchoWater Facility) procedures manuals work orders and job plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

Possession of a valid Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Grade III or higher certificate from the California State Water Resources Control Board.
