Job Summary

Reports To: Building Administrator

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan teaching certificate preferred.
  • Must hold a valid Michigan CTE teaching certificate permitting the teacher in instruct courses that fall underCIP Codes 15.1301 and 15.1306
  • OR the ability to obtain an annual career authorization (requires 4000 hours of industry experience).
  • Relevant industry experience includes but not limited to; Architecture Design Engineer Draftsman Designer Engineering drawing or other industries using 3D modeling software Architecture software or creating blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of software pgorams like AutoCAD REVIT Solidworks etc. preferred.

  • Provide high quality instruction that supports and aligns to the districts educational vision and mission.
  • Inclusive of rich engagingand deep learning experience with project based learning.
  • Facilitate an environment that fosters the learning of all students.
  • Remain knowledgeable of educational standards and strategies to meet the academic developmental and social emotional needs of students.
  • Assess and modify instructional practice leading toward increased student achievement.
  • Utilize educational technology to support students instruction and learning.
  • Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with students peers parents and community.
  • Staff will be tasked with program compliance including but not limited to CTE compliance pupil accounting records compilation maintenance and submission.
